Capital Broadcasting Addition

Turnkey Concrete Construction of an architecturally significant addition to the headquarters of Capital Broadcasting. The project consisted of lower level cast in place walls and columns to support a post tensioned slab on second floor. An exposed beam (eyebrow) running across the front of the post tensioned slab required extensive custom formwork as did the cast in place stairs and stair tower that are very prominent parts of the design. In addition to the intricate formwork, the tight logistical constraints made every part of this project a challenge to provide the high quality that was expected.
