IQ University

IQ University (internally named IQU) is an in house training program led by IQ president, Roberto Nunez. The program is unique in many ways, but principally as follows:

• Roberto is a senior faculty member for the NCSU Civil Engineering Department.
  • Roberto has been teaching for over 25 years and IQU benefits from his experience.
• Roberto is an OSHA Safety Authorized trainer.
  • OSHA 10 hour and 30 hour certifications can be led in house on a flexible schedule.
• Roberto is an ACI Fellow.
  • Roberto has long been recognized as one of the leading national experts on concrete.
• All employees are encouraged to participate in training. In house training is a large part of career advancement at IQ. Employees can learn in English or Spanish so that everyone at IQ is given an opportunity to realize their full potential.

Roberto leads IQU, but other leaders within IQ also participate in a fully functional training program. Experienced superintendents teach planning and risk avoidance. Experienced field engineers teach potential field engineers how to operate surveying equipment. Experienced mechanics and equipment operators teach all employees the operating functions of job site equipment.
