Smokey Hollow

Smokey Hollow is a mixed-use, distinctive urban area that consists of office space, urban apartments, and retail space.  During the construction, it was determined that that an area of an elevated slab would require additional strengthening to withstand an increase in loading of the elevated composite slab.  Donley’s Concrete Group contracted with IQ Contracting  to install a structural strengthening system using carbon fiber strips on the underside of the composite slab to provide the additional strength required by the design team.
