About This Project

AC Hotel

AC Hotel by Marriott constructed a new hotel in Durham, across from Duke Hospital/Duke University. The location of this project at the corner of Erwin Road and La Salle Street created a tight site with complex logistic issues. IQ Contracting constructed the concrete foundations, concrete basement walls, columns, slab on grade, and two (2) levels of structural elevated slab. IQ Contracting worked continuously with Davidson Jones and the designers to accommodate multiple design changes and logistical changes without ever having to stop production.
