June 2018, IQ Contracting, PLLC (IQ) continues to be a resource for the advancement of concrete knowledge and technology. This year, IQ concrete construction crews worked alongside engineers from North Carolina State University’s (NCSU) Construction Facilities Laboratory (CFL) in the construction of cast-in-place test specimens, utilized by CFL researchers in evaluating the performance of traditionally reinforced concrete members versus members containing supplementary CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced polymers).
